Well I think you look fantastic, as evidenced by the pictures down there!
but I know what you mean - in my mind, I am always around 20-ish, but not in the pictures. Oh no - not in the pictures!

oh I can so relate. I think I can lie to myself when looking in the mirror or something...but a photos....not so much. ugh.

Just stopping by to see if the header was up. I had a lot of fun designing it and think its looks fab with your new layout!

Oh my gosh Lori, you are so crazy! I have only seen you in pictures (what you say you look bad in) and I think you look great, so there! So I guess if we get all technical, if you say you look bad in pictures and I say you look great, you must REALLY look great in person!

But, I know what you mean. I will turn 30 this year and I am starting to find more wrinkles and crap than I've had before. Getting old stinks!

stop that stop that stop that. 30 year olds are NOT ALLOWED to talk about getting old. hello. 37 years here. i am YOUNG dammit! those are not wrinkles. they are, um... wisdom creases. shit that doesn't make it sound better. damn!

Some days, as I am getting ready to get out there and "seize the damn day", I think that I am looking make-up...perfect. smile..."ka-ching" (good). clothes....a little out-dated, yet...still good.
And then...I'll get a glimpse of myself in a mirror or window somewhere and I'm like..."who the hell is that?!?!" (and where did those lines on my neck come from?)
I turned (and I will say this only one time, folks!) 46 this year...I'm no longer the young and bouncy 25 year-old I sometimes think I am.
No....and know what? I don't look so bad....for a 40coughcough-year old. and those wrinkles? to quote the great Jimmy Buffett..."the lines have gone where the smiles have been"!!
As I was lamenting my birthday this year, someone commented that..."it's not the years in your life, but the life in your years" that is important!!!
and who says middle-aged mommas can't be's all in how you look at it. I really don't think you have anything to worry about!!!
Have a great build-up to your birthday!!! (she typed as she "toasted" you with her beer)!!!
